David Schwartz has been a wedding photographer for seven years, taking him all over the country doing what he loves. David has also won multiple awards, such as National Kodak Gallery Award for his client’s wedding album and first place in the bridal and album category in the annual Virginia Professional Photographer’s Association convention. Professional Photographer Magazine has featured his work on the cover, as well as being published in many other local and national bridal magazines. David has previously held numerous workshops for photographic studios and organizations and recognizes the importance of starting off with a good foundation of various photography topics.
On January 28th, David will host a workshop for the budding photographer! No more taking ordinary snapshots in automatic mode! He will be covering camera settings and functions, what gear and lenses to choose and why, use of flash, the planning of a shoot, workflow, basic Photoshop editing, product ideas to make your photography standout, and much, much more!
There will be a full day of instruction starting at 9am discussing composition, location choice, equipment information, and more. There will then be an on location shoot with models highlighting how to get natural moments, posing ideas, and tips on how to connect with your subjects. The workshop will then move into David’s plan of workflow and some basic Photoshop skills that will give your images a polished look. Lunch will be provided and you will also leave with work pages summarizing what you learned for the day. Bring your DSLR cameras and your laptops if you would like, and start taking pictures like a professional!
The workshop fee of $450 includes:
- Full day’s instruction from 9-4
- Catered lunch
- Work pages summarizing all the material covered that day
- On location shoot with models
- Q&A time
